Whenever I come to the Minneapolis and craving African food Mama Ti's is always my go to place!! I always get the fried pepper wings and collard greens. The pepper wings are always so good but damn so spicy and the green are always so flavorful and stay hitting!! I wanna try the ox tail and chicken curry next time

Just an amazing big restaurant. Seems like people mostly take out but you can dine there. The flavors are alive, their hot sauce is amazing, those wings were full of meat, the fish tasted the way it should and the Jolla Rice has original flavors that only gets better with time!!! The ladies that cooks it and Mama T are very nice, they are kind hearted and generous. The ambiance for a place like this is unexpectedly clean, very large space, and quiet. You should definitely try it once.

TikTok made me want to try Fufu & Egusi. So I finally got some to try. I ordered Fufu, Egusi & Oxtail soup. The Egusi was a bit too salty for me but I still ate it. Oxtail soup was my favorite. The oxtail itself was very tender and it fell off the bone just how I like it. Fufu had no flavor, but I believe that's how it is supposed to be. It's quite similar to how us Southeast Asians eat with our sticky rice. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and I would consider ordering it again.

Very good! Plantains are sweet and everything was fresh. The rice and chicken was flavorful & the Egusi was spicy but very good with the fufu.

I'm so glad we ordered lunch from MaMa Ti's! We ended up ordering through GrubHub for delivery, which worked out great. I had originally wanted the Curry Chicken with Rice. Unfortunately, they were out! I took it to mean that it's so good that they ran out, so I'll hopefully get to try it next time. Instead, I got the Jollof Rice with Chicken. It was really good! The spiciness level was definitely tolerable. They packed some extra hot sauce on the side, which was great mixed in. The chicken was a leg quarter. It was a bit dry, but overall great. My SO got the Attieke with a Whole Fried Fish. It was so good! I absolutely loved the plantains that were in it. They were perfectly salty & sweet. I can't wait to order from here again!

Growing up on the Islands I'm always looking for food that has similar flavors to the foods I grew up on.Peas and rice, fish and anything thing spicy. I was in luck when I came across MaMa Ti's .Its Liberian food which is very much similar to Caribbean food.Rice and spice!!! I ordered the ghost pepper wings and the Jollof rice with chicken and beef.I will start with the ghost pepper wings. They were cooked to perfection. The flavors were right on point. The right balance of heat.I will definitely order those again! The jollof rice was packed with a lot of flavor. This was the first time I've seen a restaurant use par boiled rice.It was not bad.A little to much grease...however the flavors and portion size made up for it.I was able to share my rice with three people. Jerome was very nice and guided me through the menu.I think they had just moved or are doing some renovations.Lots of space to eat and lots of parking!!Really good food!!!

I couldn't tell you why I decided to stop in here for a quick lunch, but I can tell you I'm goddamn glad I did. I'm always on the lookout for different food experiences, small business type places, and especially authentic ethnic food. This place checks all those boxes. Walking in I was warmly greeted by 2 guys. They asked if I had questions, and when I looked a little perplexed, they proceeded to help me decipher the menu. Liberian food. I was looking for a nice snack to get me through lunch. Sounded interesting. Signs say everything is cooked to order and may take longer. Yep, I'm cool with that as long as it's true and tasty. And boy was it. He convinced me on the ghost pepper wings. Sounded a little daunting even for someone who likes heat. But holy hell, they were awesome. Hot, yes but not overly, also sweet and very very complex. So many flavors going on. Pan fried, not deep fried, so edges got nice and done, adding even more flavor. They took a little time, but nothing crazy. Well worth it. They were the best wings I've had in a long, long time. I can't wait to bring friends back to try more of the menu. Why write a review after only having the wings? I can do anything I damn well please, so piss off and check out Mama Ti's.

This little counter-service restaurant has a simple format with big flavor menu items! I had never eaten West African food before, so I asked the young boy at the counter (probably in his early teens) what his favorite dish was and he quickly responded, "the cassava leaves". I ordered the Cassava leaves and the Ox tail. Everything was so flavorful and hearty. The portions were good and I'm still dreaming about their hot sauce! I also loved the small family business feel and experience of this place. My friend that ate with me went back the next day because she couldn't stop thinking about the Cassava leaves!
